3.5MM CS X 40MM ID BLACK BUNA 70D

Part number H3.5X40 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 40 mm (1.575 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 47 mm (1.85 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight are present.

Typical settings include agricultural equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fluid power.
