H4X405 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 405 mm (15.945 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 413 mm (16.26 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
