Part number H70415 is an AS568-415 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.775 in (95.89 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and water. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
