Ordered as H3X44.2, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 44.2 mm (1.74 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 50.2 mm (1.98 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or polar solvents will shorten service life.
