H1.6X4.7 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.7 mm (0.185 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 7.9 mm (0.31 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists hydraulic fluids, water, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load.
