The H5X50 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 50 mm (1.969 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 60 mm (2.36 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists greases and lubricants, water, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.
