Ordered as H8X50, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 50 mm (1.969 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 66 mm (2.6 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against many alcohols, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
