H3X50.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 50.5 mm (1.988 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 56.5 mm (2.22 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
