Ordered as H2.5X56, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 56 mm (2.205 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 61 mm (2.4 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or ketones are present.
