Part number H4X6 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6 mm (0.236 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 14 mm (0.55 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and water. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents.
