The H4.5X69 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 69 mm (2.717 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 78 mm (3.07 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and water. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
