Ordered as H4.5X70, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 70 mm (2.756 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 79 mm (3.11 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against many alcohols, water, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
