H5.3X71 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 71 mm (2.795 in), a cross section of 5.3 mm (0.209 in), and an outside diameter of 81.6 mm (3.21 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and water. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or polar solvents call for a different compound.
