The H2X7.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.5 mm (0.295 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 11.5 mm (0.45 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists greases and lubricants, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
