H1.78X8.73 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.73 mm (0.344 in), a cross section of 1.78 mm (0.07 in), and an outside diameter of 12.29 mm (0.48 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists water, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
