APG stocks the H1X9, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight are present.

It sees regular use in construction equipment, fluid power, and agricultural equipment.
