Part number H6X9 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 21 mm (0.83 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. It resists water, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
