This o-ring is supplied in AS568-907 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.53 in (13.46 mm), a cross section of 0.082 in (2.08 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.694 in (17.63 mm), catalogued under part number H70907. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to water, propane and butane, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
