Ordered as H3.5X91, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 91 mm (3.583 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 98 mm (3.86 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
