The H70912 is an AS568-912 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and water. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
