H5.7X97.2 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 97.2 mm (3.827 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 108.6 mm (4.28 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or automotive brake fluid are present.
