Part number H2.5X99 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 99 mm (3.898 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 104 mm (4.09 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. This material stands up to water, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
