-038 BLACK BUNA 90D O-RING

H90038 is an AS568-038 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.
