The H90249 is an AS568-249 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.859 in (123.42 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.137 in (130.48 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
