This o-ring is supplied in AS568-364 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.145 in (181.48 mm), catalogued under part number H90364. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, water, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight.
