This o-ring is supplied in AS568-462 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 16.455 in (417.96 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.005 in (431.93 mm), catalogued under part number H90462. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or ketones are present.
