Part number H90039 is an AS568-039 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents.
