Part number H90044 is an AS568-044 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and water. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
