Ordered as H90M1.5X11, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11 mm (0.433 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 14 mm (0.55 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists many alcohols, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
