-118 BLACK BUNA 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-118 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.862 in (21.89 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.068 in (27.13 mm), catalogued under part number H90118. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and petroleum-based oils. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
