This o-ring is supplied in AS568-167 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm), catalogued under part number H90167. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
