-281 BLACK BUNA 90D O-RING

H90281 is an AS568-281 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.984 in (380.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.262 in (387.65 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
