-406 BLACK BUNA 90D O-RING

The H90406 is an AS568-406 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents are present.
