6226 STYLE HOMOGENIOUS U CUP

This u-cup seal is supplied in Buna-N (Nitrile) supplied with a 1/2 inch inside diameter, a 1 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/4 inch, catalogued under part number NU6226-12. It seals more effectively as system pressure increases, without added squeeze at rest.

The material holds up against many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or strong acids are present.

Typical settings include agricultural equipment, fluid power, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
