6226 STYLE HOMOGENIOUS U CUP

This u-cup seal is supplied in Buna-N (Nitrile) built to a 5/8 inch inside diameter, a 1-1/8 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/4 inch, catalogued under part number NU6226-14. It provides low breakaway friction with strong sealing under load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
