6226 STYLE HOMOGENIOUS U CUP

The NU6226-20 is a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal supplied with a 1 inch inside diameter, a 1-1/2 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/4 inch. This u-cup seal delivers pressure-energized single-acting sealing on rods and pistons.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids.

It sees regular use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, general industrial maintenance, and construction equipment.
