6226 STYLE HOMOGENIOUS U CUP

APG stocks the NU6226-7, a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal measuring a 1/2 inch inside diameter, a 7/8 inch outside diameter, and a height of 3/16 inch. An u-cup seal delivers pressure-energized single-acting sealing on rods and pistons.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. It should not be specified for service in ketones or polar solvents.
