The NU8404-0100 is a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal built to a 1 inch inside diameter, a 1-1/4 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/8 inch. This u-cup seal provides low breakaway friction with strong sealing under load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, water, and many alcohols.

Typical settings include automotive, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
