This o-ring is supplied in AS568-120 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D built to an inside diameter of 0.987 in (25.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.193 in (30.3 mm), catalogued under part number TFE120. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) delivers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. This material stands up to oxidizing media, solvents, and nearly all industrial chemicals. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery.
