TFE174 is an AS568-174 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.737 in (221.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.943 in (227.15 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to steam, oxidizing media, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) offers near-universal chemical inertness and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals will shorten service life.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across pharmaceutical and biotech, semiconductor fabrication, and aggressive-media pipelines.
