568-213 PTFE ORINGS FDA

Ordered as TFE213, this is an AS568-213 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and excellent dielectric properties. It resists solvents, oxidizing media, and strong acids and bases. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery are present.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
