TFE319 is an AS568-319 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.037 in (26.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.457 in (37.01 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is specified for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. The compound resists oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Applications involving molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.
