This o-ring is supplied in AS568-323 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D measuring an inside diameter of 1.287 in (32.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.707 in (43.36 mm), catalogued under part number TFE323. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) offers a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The compound resists nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and strong acids and bases. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Exposure to molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.
