568-325 PTFE ORINGS FDA

The TFE325 is an AS568-325 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.895 in (48.13 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and oxidizing media. PTFE (Teflon) offers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Exposure to molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in food and beverage, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
