TFE357 is an AS568-357 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.895 in (149.73 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is valued for a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. This material stands up to strong acids and bases, nearly all industrial chemicals, and steam. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, semiconductor fabrication, and food and beverage.
