The TFE377 is an AS568-377 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.395 in (264.03 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for excellent dielectric properties and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The compound resists strong acids and bases, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Applications involving elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in laboratory equipment, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
