TFE391 is an AS568-391 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 21.953 in (557.61 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 22.373 in (568.27 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is specified for near-universal chemical inertness and excellent dielectric properties. The material holds up against nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.
