TFE435 is an AS568-435 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.275 in (159.39 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and a very wide continuous service temperature range. It resists solvents, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.

Common environments for this compound include pharmaceutical and biotech, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
