Part number TFE455 is an AS568-455 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is specified for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. The compound resists steam, oxidizing media, and solvents.
