Ordered as TFE459, this is an AS568-459 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.525 in (394.34 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE (Teflon) offers a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. It resists nearly all industrial chemicals, steam, and solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.

Typical settings include aggressive-media pipelines, pharmaceutical and biotech, and laboratory equipment.
